Complir

Complir is an AI platform for the product compliance lifecycle — helping retailers, brands, and manufacturers automate CE marking, GPSR, REACH, RoHS, and more across EU, UK, and US markets.

As Tech Lead, my work has spanned both product and engineering. On the product side I drove a full UI redesign, a product page redesign, and built out core compliance features including risk assessment, product classification, supplier documentation workflows, and labeling. On the tooling side I shipped an import wizard, an InDesign plugin, and an Illustrator plugin — bringing compliance into the tools designers and ops teams already live in. I've also owned the release process end to end.

Today Complir covers 30+ regulatory frameworks and 120+ EN standards across EU, UK, and US markets, with customers including Flying Tiger Copenhagen (500 new products/month, 44 countries), Matas (Denmark's beauty market leader), and Konges Sloejd (children's products across 90 countries). The company raised €1.7M in 2025 and was selected for Y Combinator's Spring 2026 batch.
